How to Set Default Ad Slots for a Podcast


 


1. Open your podcast settings 0:00

  • If you don’t want to create ad slots for every episode individually, go to your podcast settings.
  • Select your podcast first.
  • Click Podcast in the left-hand menu.


 


2. Scroll to the default ad slot settings 0:13

  • Scroll all the way down in the podcast settings.
  • Find the section for default ad slots.
  • This is where you can set ad slots that will apply to future episodes automatically.


 


3. Enable pre-roll and post-roll defaults 0:13

  • Turn on pre-roll default ads if you want ads to play before the episode.
  • Turn on post-roll default ads if you want ads to play after the episode.
  • Choose how many of each you want to include.


 


4. Choose the ad type and save the default behavior 0:13

  • Decide whether the default ads should be dynamic or programmatic.
  • Once saved, every new episode will automatically use these default settings.
  • The episode will inherit the number of pre-rolls and post-rolls you configured.
