Where Audio Ads Appear in Flightcast Campaigns

  • When you add an audio ad to a Flightcast campaign, it can appear differently depending on the listening platform.
  • The main question is which platforms show the ad and what the listener sees while it plays.


2. Spotify Video: free users see the ad, premium users do not 0:11

  • On Spotify Video, only free users will receive the ad.
  • Premium users will not see or hear the ad because of Spotify’s Premium Program requirements.
  • While the audio ad plays, free users see a sticky video image of the podcast cover art.

  • On Apple Podcasts Video, listeners see an overlay that says:
  • “Advertisement”
  • “Your episode will continue shortly”
  • The audio ad plays underneath this message.
  • For audio-only listeners, the ad is simply heard normally.
