Step 1: Access Podcast Integrations 0:01
- Click on 'Podcast' in the left sidebar.
- Select 'Integrations' from the top menu.
Step 2: Disconnect Existing YouTube Connection 0:10
- If you have an existing YouTube connection, click on your email to disconnect it.
Step 3: Authorize YouTube Access 0:16
- Click 'Continue' to authorize access to your YouTube account.
- Make sure to select 'All' permissions when prompted.
Step 4: Select Playlists for Podcast Episodes 0:25
- Identify and select all playlists that contain your main podcast episodes.
- Avoid selecting playlists with shorts; focus on longer content.
Step 5: Create the Connection 1:03
- Click 'Create' to finalize the connection.
- Flightcast will copy the selected playlists for analytics tracking.
Step 6: Confirmation 1:19
- Verify that your YouTube channel is now connected to Flightcast.
Cautionary Notes
- Ensure you select 'All' permissions; otherwise, Flightcast will not function properly.
- Double-check that you are only selecting playlists with podcast episodes, not shorts.
