How Spotify Monetization Works in Flightcast

1. Flightcast connects your show to Spotify monetization 0:00

• Flightcast is partnered with Spotify.
• This partnership lets Flightcast help you:
• submit your show to the Spotify Partner Program
• receive payouts from Spotify through Flightcast

2. Wait for your show to qualify for the Monetize tab 0:13

• After you sign up for Flightcast, your show is automatically tracked.
• If your show has enough:
• streams
• listens
• overall consumption on Spotify
• the Monetize tab will appear.

3. Submit your show for Spotify monetization approval 0:27

• Once the Monetize tab appears, you can submit your show for Spotify monetization.
• Spotify will review the submission and either:
• approve your show
• deny your show
• If approved, your show is added to the Spotify Partner Program.

4. Add ad slots in Flightcast to monetize on Spotify too 0:27

• Any ad slots you add in Flightcast episodes will also appear on Spotify.
• On Spotify, those ad slots are hidden from premium listeners or viewers.
• You earn payouts from those monetized ad slots.

5. Flightcast collects Spotify payments and sends them to you monthly 0:48

• Flightcast receives the payments from Spotify on your behalf.
• Payments are distributed to you at the end of each month.
• Spotify pays Flightcast one month after the revenue is earned.
• Example: May earnings are received at the end of June.
• As soon as Flightcast receives the money, it is sent to you immediately.
• Flightcast takes no cut.

6. If you were already monetized on Spotify, you’ll be resubmitted automatically 1:05

• If your show was already monetized on Spotify before joining Flightcast:
• you will be instantly resubmitted for monetization
• you can start generating revenue again right away
• Your payments will now come through Flightcast instead of directly from Spotify.
• Flightcast still takes no cut.

7. Connect your bank account in the Monetize tab 1:22

• A bank account connection option is available in the Monetize tab.
• The Monetize tab should appear right away.
• Connect your bank account there so Flightcast can send your payouts.
