When we first made Flightcast, we allowed you to connect your Spotify for Creators account.

You could post to Spotify and your RSS feed through that connection.

In the years since then, we have moved away from this setup to a much more powerful setup.

Thanks to our partnership with Spotify, you can now fully host your podcast on Flightcast, automatically post videos to Spotify, and get much better and faster analytics for both Spotify and audio platforms.

In order to do this, you'll need to move your podcast from Spotify for Creators to Flightcast officially.

This will not interrupt any of your analytics.

You will not lose any data.

You will not lose any videos.

It will just take about 30 minutes of processing time.

If you have had issues with RSS listens and other Apple podcast data or similar audio data not showing up in Flightcast, it's because you are still hosted on Spotify for Creators and using this legacy setup.

We've made it very easy to move off of this legacy setup, and we will help you move off of it on a call with our team.

**If you don't want to do a call **- or you are not sure whether your show is ready to be redirected, we are happy to complete the process for you.

To allow us to migrate your show for you, follow the instructions below.

1. Go to Spotify for Creators
2. Important: Do not use Chrome - use Safari, Firefox, or another browser.
3. Click your profile picture in the top right, then select Team.
4. Click [Your Show Name].
5. Click invite on the top right.
6. Add Flightcast as the title and team@flightcast.com as the email, and switch on Set team member as team admin.
7. Then, in **Flightcast, **open the purple Support Chat bubble in the bottom right, and paste this message:"I would like to upgrade my Spotify setup. I have invited team@flightcast.com to my Spotify For Creators team as an admin. Please forward this to the Flightcast team to perform the migration for me.".

Do not follow the below instructions until your scheduled call.

To make sure your show is fully managed in Flightcast, you will need to redirect your podcast RSS feed from Spotify for Creators to your Flightcast RSS feed.

Before you begin

Before redirecting, we will make sure we have already ingested your existing Spotify video episodes and analytics into Flightcast.

This will prevent any loss of video content or historical data during the transition.

If you would like, you can also invite team@flightcast.com as an admin on your Spotify for Creators account so we can help complete the migration for you.

Step-by-step migration process

1) Copy your Flightcast RSS feed URL

a) Log in to Flightcast.

b) Click Podcast on the left sidebar.

c) Copy your Flightcast RSS feed URL.

2) Open your Spotify for Creators settings

a) Log in to Spotify for Creators.

b) Go to Settings

c) Open the Availability section

d) Make sure RSS settings are turned on. If RSS is not enabled, turn it on first.

3) Redirect your show

a) In the Podcast settings, scroll down to the Redirect field and paste your Flightcast RSS feed URL into the redirect input and Click Redirect.

b) Confirm the redirect when prompted.

Once this is complete, your podcast will be moved off Spotify for Creators and into Flightcast-managed delivery.

What happens after the redirect

After your show is redirected, the Flightcast team will take over the next stage of the migration.

This will include:

• upgrading your show on Spotify
• syncing ad slots and campaigns to Spotify
