  • If you create a campaign in FlightCast, then create an ad and upload a video, the key question is: where will that video ad actually run?
  • The answer depends on which podcast platforms currently support video ad delivery.


 


2. Know the current supported platforms 0:12

  • As of June 15, 2026, video ads only play on:
  • Apple Podcasts Video
  • RSS Video
  • In practice, this includes:
  • Apple Podcasts
  • Other platforms that accept submitted video through RSS, such as iHeart when video has been submitted to them.


 


3. Understand what is not supported yet 0:24

  • Spotify video ads are not live yet, but support is hoped to launch in about a month or two.
  • YouTube is not currently planned as a supported destination for video ads.
  • Even if YouTube opens up in the future, it would require platform support before FlightCast could deliver video ads there.
